1Borneo (7th June 2008: Saturday)

Well hello again........

It was Saturday.....& the Shabby's were off to the first & largest lifestyle hypermall in East Malaysia....hihihi.......apa lagi.....1Borneo lahhhh.......it's the talk of the town................

It was in the afternoon when hubby decided to take us there........& it was rainning heaverly when we got there.........the heavy rain really makes me scared to death!!!........betul-betul bikin takut ohhhh!!!!.......tapi inda apa........"lautan api kan ku renangi...apa lagi hujan ribu"...(hihihi...Whimsy & Fabmom.....ingat lagikah tu?) ....1Borneo here we come!!!.....

Sooooo.....how was 1Borneo?........hmmmmmm the basement parking lot was "banjir".....& the place......."d banjiri oleh berbagai lapisan manusia"..............When we got in to the mall......we went uhhhh & ahhhhhh........."sakai" for a moment!!!!!...........sheeeesh......the mall betul-betul makes me feel like i'm in MidValley Megamall!!!!!!........hmmmmmm.....I really miss MidValley......A LOT!!!!!.....

They even got clowns!!!!......

Manhattan Fish Market.............Sushi King......It's a good thing "Tapanyaki" inda ada......if ada....there goes my diet!!!!!!....ohhhya.....M.A.C pun ada...(I know somebody is smilling right now...).....Modern Mum pun ada......ohhhhhhh how I wish I'm "betian"(preggy) right now!!!!!

We met EDM & wife, Nonong & family, Farhana & family and Salwah & Family!!! Betul-betul a place to be seen...kan!!!!!

We had our late lunch at Kenny Roger's........

After lunch, my hubby wanted to check out his friend's shop...."Something D'fferent"

but ohhh nooo......right next to them is an amusement centre....."Boo Boo Land"....

My Cha was jumping up for joy when she saw the "Boo Boo Land"...

& boohoo....we spend nearly an hour in that so called land..........

Heyyyy....Kamdar......opening soonnnnnnn......(I'm smilling now!!!!!....Whimsy...frugality????)

It was almost Maghrib when we got out from the mall.........stop at the nearby gas station to buy some mineral water......& hubby decided to try out the "drive-in" McD!!!!!!......It was his first experience......How "Village" is that????????.......when we arrived at the counter....he didn't know what to order....panic...."cat got his tongue"!!!!!.......apa lagi....c momi & the girls lah yang berabis mengorder....hahahahah......lucu kan him!!!!!!

Increase in fuel price!!!!!!

Hey......what's that?.......is it Siti Nurhaliza's concert?.......or an accident?.....NO.....it's only poor Sabahan yang berebut-rebut mau beli minyak kereta semalam........macam pesta pula kan......We got caught up in the jam for about nearly 2 damn hours!!!......I think not only in Sabah.....my cousin called from KL pun said that her husband got caught up in a looooooong jam.....just to buy the minyak kereta...........Boo hoo...for Pak Lah for making our lives miserable.....& boo hoo BN too!.....That's our punishment for voting the BN!!!!!......OK BN guys...what's next?......kasi naik lah semua tu harga-harga barang semua...alang-alang lah kan............

we stayed at the Executive Suite Residence

the only bilik yang ada kitchen & two rooms.......

rasanya lahhhh........

At night......nothing to do....so the kids played pool
Nite view....hmmmmmmm

Well, I do.........

The place was so breathtakingly perfect & beautiful.........words sticking in my throat.......I can't express how I feel. I wish I could stay there forever............

Trip to Kundasan Ranau (29th May 2008) Part III

On our way back to KK.........we got caught up in a mist....."afternoon mist"??...It is sooooo misty...we couldn't see a thing!!!.......& it's only around 3:30 pm!!!

We can hear a "gong" music played at the back........

sungguh menyeramkan....macam cerita horror pulak!

We arrived KK at about 6pm.......OMG look at the long que!!!

we got caught up in a traffic jam along jalan Kolombong-Lintas

Trip to Kundasang, Ranau (29th May 2008) Part II

We arrived Mount Kinabalu Resort & Spa at around 1pm. The place were full of people....got wedding function.......parking pun full ni.....& the Tinompok Restaurant was closed to the public because of the wedding function.....but the management arranged a buffet lunch outside...at the garden terrace!.......... but memandangkan the weather was so panas outside.....we decided to have our lunch at the Topion Cafe instead!

The girls were so hungry.......

they keep on asking for their food!!!!

OMG....u guys should try out their Nescafe Tarik....it was superb!

Do u guys know what?.....We wanted to sembahyang at the hotel but we couldn't, cause there is no surau in the hotel....!!!....& to make it worst all the rooms were fully booked (nobodys fault...sapa suruh inda booking awal-awal...school holidays somemore!!!)...we need to freshen up & the toilets are just too small & ramai orang........I suggest in the near future, the management should think of a small surau for the muslim guests and a nappy changing room........wink! wink!...
