Risoles Recipe.......

Hello peeps.......

I'm craving for comfort food again...especially after eating this "Risoles" at Kak Nong's Restaurant the other day. "Risoles" is an Indonesian's snack & it's best eaten for breakfast or afternoon tea!......

Risoles ready to be eaten......

So as promised..here's my Risoles Recipe..........

Risoles Skins
2 eggs
150 grams all purpose flour
500 ml water / milk
1/2 tsp salt

The batter makes about 17 - 18 slices...depends on the thickness....
Pour evenly on the non stick medium pan...
It is cooked when the skin is getting dry on the
edge & easy to peel off.......

Breadcrumbs......but I'm using my leftover cream
crackers.....lagi wangi.....


Fillings
2 boneless chicken
1 clove garlic
1 big onion
1 bay leaf (optional)
Mushrooms (optional, sukatan...ikut suka!)
Frozen mix veggies. (sukatan...ikut suka!)
salt & pepper
200 ml milk
50 ml chicken broth (air biasa pun boleh)
2 tbsp all purpose flour
olive oil & butter
2 slices of cheddar cheese (optional)
Method: - Heat olive oil & add some butter. - Saute onions & garlic until lightly brown, then add the chicken. After that, add the all purpose flour, chicken broth, milk, Mushrooms, mix veggies & bayleaf. Season with salt & pepper. Cook in medium heat & keep stirring until it is thick. lastly add the slice cheese. Cool it down.

Risoles Filling

Take one cooked skin &
add the filling on the middle of the skin.
Dip them in a beaten egg white &
coat them with breadcrumbs.


Risoles ready to be fry....
Deep fry until the skin fully cooked.....

Fried Risoles!!
