Lunch at Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant, Asia City Complex, Kota Kinabalu (19th April 2008)


After reading Bobby's post on Anjappar Restaurant.......it made me wanted to try out the food!!!....so yesterday, after the furniture hunting adventure......I drag hubby & the kids to ......Anjappar Restaurant!.....It is located at Asia City Complex. The menu offers a wide selection of Indian specialty cuisine & I heard that Anjappar is the only restaurant in Sabah that offers both Northen & Southern Indian cuisine.

Masala Papadum - RM2.50

Gobi 65 - RM4.00 (small size)
Spicy deep-fried couliflower

Palak Paneer - RM8.00 (regular size)
Chunks of cottage cheese in creamed spinach!

Anjappar Fried Chicken - RM5.50 (small size)
Chicken marinated in anjappar's special
southern spice-mix & fried to a golden brown

Butter Chicken - RM6.50 (small size)
Boneless grilled chicken cooked in
a delicious tomato & butter sauce

Lamb Masala - RM11.00 (regular size)
Lamb cubes cooked in rich Chettinad masala


I tell u .... all the food were fantastic...especially the lamb masala.......Hubby even tapau two regular size (note: no large size!) of the lamb for our dinner...hehehehe
