Recipe for Chicken Pie & Mushroom Soup with Pastry Top Hat

This post is especially dedicated to a very dear and old friend of mine....Saniah......hope you enjoy making them!!!!

Ingredients:

- Onions & veggies - mushrooms, potato & carrot - cut into bite size pieces.

- Chicken - cut into tiny pieces

- Bayleaf - 1 keping saja

- Tepung gandum - 1 tablespoon

- Water

- Ready made pastry. You can buy this at Consfood, Damai Plaza. They also sell pizza base.


- 1 egg lightly beaten
- Olive oil, butter, pepper & salt to taste.

....Nia ...remember to roll your pastry...kasi basar dia....supaya dapat cover semua!

Method:

- Heat olive oil & add some butter.
- Saute onions, then add the chicken. Lepas tu masukkan tepung gandum.....baru masuk air
- Once the chicken is almost cooked add the veggies & bayleaf.
- Season with salt & pepper.

Nia....you can also make soup with pastry top hat using the same pastry......tu soup you can buy ...tin soup or packed soup.....

Mushroom soup....

- Brush the top of the pastry with egg.
- Bake at 375F about 15 - 20 minutes until the pastry is golden.

Sri, banyak sudah pie kau buat dengan pastry ni..so happy to see that ! Aku baru buat sekali saja masa aku post that article. Mesti buat lagi. Kau tau, aku guna marinara sauce yg Prego punya, tin biru. Sedap !
